Thanks for the link and info, will need some time to read and digest that all though, but seems definitely worth taking the time.

Thanks, MMYP. The web site is very interesting. I did not get to all of the llinks, but this is a long weekend and I have plenty of time to relax and read. I did read The Rise and fall of Christopher Smith. Very fascinating.

A technique that can be used to make it essentially impossible for LE to actually shut down a pharmacy website. I am not sure if they have been censoring the websites or what, but here is my thoughts on the matter. The benefit of this system is extreme anonymity of the server hosting the website. The disadvantage is very slow load times (20 seconds or so per page) for people who browse the website.

Get the actual server hosting the pharmacy website set up on Tor hidden services. Tor hidden services are location hidden servers that allow people using Tor to view them, it looks like this:

Client ---> Entry Node ---> Relay Node ----> Exit Node <---> Rendezvous <---> Exit node <---- Relay Node <---- Entry Node <---- Location hidden server

Now since 95% of people getting pharms online are not going to want to learn to use Tor, even though they should, the pharm website host person will need to set up a tor2web portal as well. tor2web allows another server running Tor to pull infomation from the hidden service and display it on the normal internet. It looks like this:

Client <----> www.pharmacy-website-whatever.com <----> Entry Node ---> Relay Node ----> Exit Node <---> Rendezvous <---> Exit node <---- Relay Node <---- Entry Node <---- Location hidden server

If pharm websites are set up in this way they should be essentially immune from having their location found, or shut down / censored.
