@tindy , I too think that science will catch up someday. I hope I live long enough to learn what causes such a brutal condition. Sure there are theories but without fact there can be no solutions. Wishing you only good things.

@tindy , I wanted to comment on what you said about how the anti-anxiety meds you take do not make you sleepy or cause you to feel buzzed. That makes perfect sense to me in that it is the same for me when I take pain meds.

Because I have physical pain, the pks do not make me high or give me euphoria, they just take the pain away. So it makes perfect sense that the same would be true for anti-anxiety meds taken by those who have anxiety.

I don't know why that is such a hard concept for the medical professionals or those without anxiety or pain, to grasp.

I think Gabapentin is great for anxiety and it makes me feel good as well....However, I don't want to deal with the weight gain associated with it...

I know. I have NEVER felt 'high' or rarely tired (no more than normal, in other words, no correlation) from Klon. I'm always surprised when people says it helps them sleep, but I understand that it certainly can.

Hi @tindy , nice to 'see' you. I would like to clarify that insomnia like anxiety can be debilitating and if one chooses to take a benzo to sleep well that just makes sense to me. Everyone must do what works for them.

DD is still doing well and even got promoted at her job. She and the BF are going to spend a week with us at Xmas. It's nice when things work out after so many years of worry, concern, and downright fear. Phew!

So true, and everything works at some time to tell us something we need to now. I'm currently running 'clean' and using meditation as the primary anxiolytic (again), because it works for me a lot of the time.

(BTW, it's Renne from the new PR - using this name as an old habit demanded change. :-) - Just asked @Westend to change it to PR one.)

Hi @Blackbird123 Yes, the pace is easy, maturity has its advantages. Not sure you'll find much of interest, but see you around B...
