Docs forcing you to stop benzos?

I was stable on alprazolam 1mg for years, then my doctor left the practice and a new one took her place. Lo and behold this new guy forced me to taper off.

If you have any medical problems in this day and age that may require narcotic pain meds, benzos, amphetamines, etc on a regular basis... The doctors only look at you as a liability...

Such a shame. However, I’ve read about young children getting ADHD meds (schedule two, right?) pushed on them.
