Absinthe
Has anyone had any experience with this? I'm not talking about the lucid bottle you see at the liquor store I'm talking about the psychoactive wormwood Absinthe. Seems very interesting, it's been banned for 100 years but people do still make it. I'm doing research on it tonight.
I just found out it seems it is now legal in USA... Hmm

What is sold legally now in the US has a very limited amount of the wormwood extract allowed per ounce of alcohol so what is now available is almost worthless. You can still get it from some European Countries but I am not sure which ones at this moment.

Yeah getting legit absinthe is kind of a pain. You have to use a courier service and some of the best stuff comes from Slavic countries. Either way, IMO it tastes like shit and is way too expensive and difficult to procure to make the high worth it.

Years ago, in the mid 2000's, my friend and I went to Tijuana (when it was still somewhat safe) and got in a cab and drove around for an hour before procuring a bottle of this garbage. My friend was all into it, lighting it on fire and whatever, I could not even get a shot down. It was horrible, but I hear it does have some hallucination effects if you can drink it. I think I can drink piss before this stuff. Cheers!

I bought a bottle in barcelona about 5 yrs ago.
It's heavily diluted from back in the day of hemingway and wilde.
they really minimize the wormwood content so you dont get what makes absinthe unique - you only get drunk.
